SCHEME FOR REGISTRATION OF PROCESSORS OF CANNED FISH AND CANNED FISH CURRY
Application processing fee including
a) manual evaluation for one scope sector
b) Manual evaluation fee for additional scope sectors

In case of visits (if needed for any special reason)
All expenses (i.e Air fare, accommodation, per diem at the rates approved by the government etc.)

0.1% of the FOB value
a) Registration fee would be charged from the day of granting the provisional registration.
b) Calendar years are considered for the payment of fees. Fee on quarterly basis shall be paid before the end of the immediately following month.
c) When making payment on FOB value, following information shall also be provided to SLSI.

d) Failure to pay the fees within the stipulated time periods results in suspension/cancellation of registration.
e) The inspection of consignments and testing of samples drawn from consignments from registered processors, for the purpose of monitoring (random checks), will be carried out free of charge.
f) If inspection/testing is carried out for any reason other than for a random checking, the fee for such inspection/testing would be recovered by SLSI.
For all above charges, prevailing government taxes are payable.
