The Laboratory Service Division also offers product-testing services to the Industry, Trade & Commerce. These tests are carried out in accordance with Company, National or International standards. In addition it offers certain technical services such as establishment of laboratories and technical training for laboratory personnel.

Laboratory Service Division comprises of six specialized laboratories in the fields of Chemical, Electrical, Food, Materials, Microbiology and Textiles.

All these laboratories are equipped with modem instruments and manned by experienced and qualified staff. These services are open to both public and private sectors.

Chemical and Microbiology Laboratories have been accredited by the Swedish board for Accreditation & Conformity Assessment (SWEDAC)
