Export Inspection

After grading and packing the consignment in accordance with SLS 405: Specification for cashew kernels, the exporter shall apply for certification by...

forwarding the relevant application form to SLSI. (Separate application forms shall be forwarded for different grades in a particular consignment)

 

 

Upon receipt of the application, lead seals and tags are issued to the exporter. These shall be attached to the packages by the exporter and shall make arrangements for SLSI officers to inspect/sample the consignment.

INSPECTION/SAMPLING/TESTING

The consignment will be inspected/sampled and tested in accordance with SLS 405 : Specification for cashew kernels by SLSI.


ISSUE OF QUALITY CERTIFICATES

If the sample drawn is found to be conforming to SLS 405 : Specification for cashew kernels, a quality certificate will be issued.

If the sample is found to be not conforming, the exporter will be informed.
